University of Michigan Ann Arbor Department of Anthropology is the top-ranked department in the US, according to the National Research Council Report for the Study of Research-Doctorate Programs. Courses offered in Medical Anthropology are Nutritional Anthropometry, Anthropology of Kinship, Demographic Approaches in Anthropology, Anthropology of Science and Ethics, etc.

U of Michigan is also ranked joint top in the nation for its anthropology programs by the U.S. News and World 2009, equal first with U of Chicago.

Top Industrial Engineering Doctoral Programs

The H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology is the largest academic program of its kind in the United States. The University of Helsinki was ranked as the best Finnish university on the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) compiled by Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2008, rated 1 st in Finland, 19th in Europe and 68th globally. The University of Turku and the University of Oulu reached the shared position of 303-401 globally. Tech Univ Helsinki was ranked in the position of 402-503 globally.
