Best Psychology Doctoral Programs

Stanford was rated first for its doctoral program in psychology. The Department of Psychology at Stanford offers the following graduate degrees: Master of Arts and Ph.D. in Psychology. It has five different areas of study: Cognitive, Developmental, Neuroscience, Personality, and Social Psychology.

U of Michigan–Ann Arbor was rated in the Top two nationally. The Psychology Department offers a Ph.D. program in six areas of psychology:

However the department does not have master's degree programs, all applicants are evaluated in terms of their potential for completing the doctorate.

The Psychology Department at Yale organizes itself into five programs: Behavioral Neuroscience, Clinical Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Developmental Psychology, and Social/Personality Psychology. The graduate program in the Department of Psychology enrolls about 15 new PhD students every year.
